The following terms mean pretty much the same thing: coach, mentor, life coach, educator, counselor, adviser, guide, teacher, trainer, tutor, instructor.
Did Michael Jordan or Karl Malone accomplish what they did by themselves? What about J. K. Rowling, or John Grisham?
It may be safe to say that anyone who accomplishes great things in this world did so with the help of a coach, mentor, life coach, educator, counselor, adviser, guide, teacher, trainer, tutor, or instructor. Why is that? The answer is at the same time simple and complicated. Human beings are capable of achieving greatness wherever greatness can be achieved.
If you personally desire to achieve greatness in some aspect of your life, greatness is more easily achieved if a coach is involved. Stowell and Starcevich stated, “Nearly everything we do can be done better if we team up with a coach.”
Where do you wish to attain greatness? After you answer that question, ask yourself this one: Do I know someone that can coach me to that level of achievement? If the answer is yes, ask them to be your mentor.
If the answer is no, find someone who is capable of helping you towards your desired end goal. In the long run, their help can make a huge difference in your life and what you accomplish.
