In 1975, Dr. Steven J. Stowell and Dr. Matt M. Starcevich began their coaching research and developed a coaching program as part of a performance management system for Phillips Petroleum Company.
This ground breaking work led to the creation of the Center for Management and Organization Effectiveness (CMOE) in December 1978. Conducting workshops and development initiatives, CMOE continues to be led by Dr. Stowell and provides quality coaching workshops.
