Group Facilitation
Leading groups to solutions goes beyond traditional tools and techniques of group facilitation and meeting management. This book and program is not primarily about presentation skills, instruction, or public speaking. Rather, this Group Facilitation Workshop helps participants develop the skills needed to help teams create an energized and unified climate, gain consensus and contribution, and develop innovative solutions to current organizational challenges.The book and workshop provides an active model of the process of "Leading Groups to Solutions." An experienced CMOE consultant guides participants through learning activities and discussions that help simulate the interactions between members of the groups and the teams they lead in their own organizations.
Participants who attend this course are assisted through the group facilitation process by conceptualizing, and then practicing newly developed skills in a variety of relevant case studies and business simulations. Thirty percent of the time is spent on the "What is" and "Why" of group facilitation with approximately 70% of the workshop devoted to practicing and developing new group facilitation skills.
